Shortly after the Orchestra Program was established, the Brighton Orchestra Boosters began, and it became a 501(c)3 in 2022.
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to partnering with our Orchestra Directors to support all aspects of the Orchestra for our students. The BOB Executive Board is a group of volunteers elected by our organization members each year.
As a parent, guardian, or caretaker of the Orchestra, you can actively help support our wonderful Orchestra. You can…chaperone events & student socials • Move orchestra equipment • Assist with concert publicity • Help us with fundraising
Our goal is to ensure everything runs smoothly and our Orchestra directors can focus on the students and the music. Fundraising supports the BAS Orchestras. The Boosters meet once a month; parents, guardians, and caregivers from BHS, Scranton, and Maltby are welcome to attend. Meetings cover topics such as the future of the Orchestra program, upcoming events, and areas of concern or need. Additionally, the Boosters send out email newsletters throughout the year to update everyone on events and volunteer opportunities.
